About Us
Owner and inventor, Dan Taylor was inspired by the need to improve the safety in equestrian products, starting with driving lines and riding reins after a personal harness racing accident. After several weeks in the Intensive Burn Care Unit, an idea came to Dan, the invention that is now used in Equusafe’s Safety Rein and Driving Line collection, with the hopes of an accident like his not happening to another person. After several years creating, designing and patenting his invention, he teamed up with strategic partner Abbey Slaven, who has helped him with the riding rein product development and bringing both the product and company to launch. We are both blessed to have the opportunity to reach the equestrian community with this design!
